We are continuing on with  Maria's original  6D software project.   There will be 12 unique  blocks in all.  In this class you will be creating and editing your blocks, stitch them out at home,  and bring them in the following month for show and tell.   This project requires 6D EXTRA  for editing purposes.      $22 per class

OPEN QUILT—Mornings   (Irene Kirk)

This is a very popular class in which you work on the project of your choice and get the help you need to complete the project.  You can work on any quilting project or learn a new technique such as a great binding method, etc.   $22 each /4 for $80

OPEN QUILT FRIDAYS   (Irene Kirk)       
Fridays from 10:30 - 1:30
Great opportunity to learn about the art of quilting.  This class is perfect for beginners and intermediate quilters.  The focus is on precise cutting, seaming and pressing.  We have lots of ideas for projects ideal for beginning quilts.  It is set up as an open quilt format so you can choose the project you want to work on.   $22 each /4 for $80

OPEN SEW    (Fran Short)                            
Tuesdays from 10-1

Tuesdays from 1:30 - 4:30

Similar to Open Quilting classes, we have an open format for garment sewing.  This is a perfect setting for clothing construction.  We will work with you to make you comfortable with choosing patterns, cutting, marking, and construction.  As your garment progresses, we will help you with more upscale seam finishes, such as french seams and hong kong seams.  We will also show you various options for zipper insertions.  If you want to ease back into sewing or just give it a try, this is the place to do it and receive some extra help you might need.   

Please no quilting projects in Open Sew!

During this class, in theory at least, you will be working on Christmas projects throughout the year.  Why wait until the last minute to get this done?  See what others are working on and get inspired.  It is amazing to see the same project in so many different color ways!  $ 28  class fee

HEIRLOOM CREATIONS   (Carolyn Sprague)

Thursday, Sept  10  and 24 from 1 - 5 

We have a growing number of heirloom sewing enthusiasts here at the Cupboard, so we are opening a time slot every other Thursday for you to come in and get expert help with your heirloom projects.  Cutwork by machine, crazy quilting, machine smocking, lacework, etc. are the kinds of projects we are working on.  Christening gowns are also a possibility in this class.  $28 per class

We are working on  the spectacular project called Deck The Halls by Crab-Apple Hill, however any hand embroidery project is welcome.   $22 

Jolly Old Santa Wall Quilt  (Marianne)

Marianne will teach you to paint the perfect Santa face for your wall hanging. The last hour of class will be demo only, in which she will show you proper applique techniques and thread painting.
